Billings, MT 3/25/18 The Highlanders brought their “A” Game at the Montana Open this weekend at the Billings Metra! The Open is the premier tournament of the season in our state and it’s a TRUE regional event that features just under 2,000 grapplers from MT, ND, SD, WY, ID, WA, and NE.
GWC came in and set two NEW club records once again. The Highlanders finished in 10th place overall out of 146 teams! It is the HIGHEST team finish in our club history at this event. For the first time ever, we crowned THREE Montana Open Champions in one year. The 12 placers over the weekend is also the 2nd most we have ever had at the Open.
