Billings, MT- Over 2,100 kids piled into Metra park to compete in the prestigious Montana Open in Billings this past weekend.  Those numbers were good enough for a NEW tournament record.  39 of those youngsters were Glasgow Highlanders.  The Glasgow Wrestling Club was the 8th largest team at the event.  The Montana Open is always an absolute GRIND and it wasn’t different this time around. After the dust settled, the Highlanders put 14 kids on the podium by placing in the top 6 of their respective weight classes.  That’s good enough for the 2nd most in club history. GWC finished in a tie for 20th place overall in the “10-man team” point race out of an incredible 176 teams. An outstanding effort by our kids.  That puts a wrap on the 2019 club season.  This season goes down as one of THE most successful seasons in club history.  What a special group of kids we have.  Be proud Glasgow!
