Highlanders Lead Off with Little Cowboy

Miles City, MT , 1/12/20– The Highlanders 2020 season started with a bang this weekend in Miles City at the prestigious “Little Cowboy” event. With over 500 area wrestlers packed into the Custer County High School (45 Highlanders), this event made for some early season fire works, unfamiliar opponents, first time experiences and outstanding performances . These young Glasgow wrestlers answered the bell with limited early season practice time and stiff out-of-division competition for a third place team finish out of 19 teams. After the dust settled, the Highlanders crowned 32 top four place winners, 18 finalists and 8 overall champions. The Highlanders will be competing at Havre this Saturday at the “Little Pony” Invitational.
