Williston, ND, 2/17/20– This weekend carried 45 young Highlanders east to oil country in Williston, ND for the Zach Anderson Memorial Open. Nearly 500 wrestlers packed the house at the “Well” at Willston State College for this annual highly competitive event. The Highlanders compiled an impressive 96 wins (61 coming via pin) and a 62% winning percentage. They also compiled the 2nd most match points, an example of their super aggressive nature, and finished in 4th place in the 30 team field. Tate Lehner, Kennedy Flaten, Raiden Olmstead, Hunter Pierce, Taden Sundeen, Jaxson Kemp, Rivers Sugg, Jack Morehouse, Levi Overvold and Jaydeen Hanshew were ALL crowned champions. The Highlanders also earned 9 2nd place, 9 3rd place and 10 4th place award winners.
